Michael Witkes (he/him) is an NYC-based multi-hyphenate; actor, writer, director, producer and Drag Queen (Pink Pancake). He is most known for his work creating, producing, and starring in the award winning series, Interested In. Seasons 1 and 2 were official selections at 12 film festivals, including Frameline. Season 2 was a recipient of a 2022 NYC Women’s Fund Grant (Dir. Erica Rose) and was nominated for a Queerties Award. The series has over 25 million views and 58K subscribers on YouTube. It's been featured in HuffPost, Queerty, NewNowNext, and Gayety, among others. Michael's short film, Boys Will, was a semifinalist in Diverse Voices, WeScreenplay, and Big Apple Film Festivals. As a Drag Queen, Michael performs all over the city as "Pink Pancake;" most notably with Susanne Bartsch. Pancake has won numerous drag competitions in NYC and was featured in Condé Nast Traveler’s “What We Pack Series.” As an actor, Michael has worked both regionally and off Broadway at Playwrights Horizons, Walnut Street Theatre, The Hangar Theatre, and more.
